The Practice Palette
As a teaching aid, the practice palette, printed on card and encapsulated in strong, clear plastic is an expensive alternative to the real thing. It must be emphasised that it is for temporary use only; although with care it will last for several painting sessions.
Do bear in mind that it is flat, making it more suitable for mixing oils, acrylics and gauache. Watercolours can be mixed on it but only with the minimum amount of water.The smaller size of 21cm x 21cm (8" x 8") is ideal for individual use and can either be loaned or sold to the student.
